Susan Katz- Evening the Frayed Edges Book Launch

Susan Katz is a creative writing instructor as well as a journalist and author. She has a special interest in creating public awareness of the lived experiences of people who are differently-abled. She inspires her students to weave their lived experiences into the fabric of our society.

Susan is launching a book this month called “Evening the Frayed Edges” , a collection of first-hand accounts of Mental Health Recovery which hopes to provide insight and education to both the public and health care professionals.”  Details are below.

Pat Quinn & Milan Lucic to join EMBERS Golf Tournament!

EMBERS is delighted to announce that in addition to King Richard Brodeur from the Canucks Alumni, Edmonton Oilers Chief Advisor Pat Quinn & Boston Bruins star Milan Lucic will be joining us for our golf tournament on the 5th of August.

After all golf spots are filled we will Auction off  online, two weeks prior to Tournament start, the opportunity to golf with King Richard, Pat Quinn and Milan Lucic to the top three bidders for each player / coach.

Each registered golfer will receive a pin code to the site where you can bid and keep track of the bidding process.

So there will be the top three bidders for each and Richard, Pat or Milan to round out the foursome.

Each of the three successful bidders will receive as part of their winning bid package an autographed picture of the celebrity they are golfing with as well as preferred seating and dinner service and complimentary bottle of  Wine brought to their table.

You must be registered before July 10^th. To participate in the bid.
